Home Page and Catalog

Content showcase architecture and visual ergonomics of Mavji Somon

The Mavji Somon home page is designed to make it as easy as possible for viewers to find interesting content among thousands of movies and series. The top navigation panel provides quick access to main sections ("Movies", "Series", "Cartoons", "TV", etc.), as well as search and language switcher tools.

The main screen space is divided into thematic collections: "Recommended to watch", "New releases", and "Highly rated movies". This interface with horizontal card scrolling allows accommodating a huge amount of content without visual clutter. Dark Mode reduces eye strain during evening viewing, and bright high-resolution posters immediately attract the user's attention.

1. Structural modularity and horizontal Carousels

The visual rhythm of the platform is based on a modular grid built on the alternation of thematic carousel rows:

Intuitive gesture and scroll navigation: Horizontal ribbons make it easy to scroll through dozens of titles within one category without leaving the current screen.

No cognitive noise: Instead of a monotonous list, the entire library is divided into distinct visual clusters.

2. Intelligent feed personalization

Each collection plays a specific role in audience retention:

"Recommended to watch": Formed by an algorithmic recommendation system based on viewing history.

"New releases": Fresh releases, festival pictures, and exclusive premieres.

"Highly rated movies": Social proof of quality — projects with the highest ratings.

3. Interactive cards and micro-animations

Each element in the feed is an independent micro-interface:

Hover Effect: When hovering, the card scales smoothly, displaying key meta-information over the poster.

Instant actions: Quick buttons for launching a trailer or adding to the "Watch later" playlist are available right from the card.

4. Dark Mode aesthetics and focus on media content

Using a deep dark palette is a standard in modern premium streaming.
